As a Project Manager at Nautilus Construction, you will be at the helm of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers, leading your team through all phases of construction, from planning to execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, manage micro-scheduling, and coordinate with the production manager, architects, engineers, and other consultants to finalize project specifications.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and approve expenditures while implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Scheduling and Time Management: Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensure all milestones and deadlines are met, and oversee project progress through daily reviews of job logs and regular meetings with lead carpenters.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Implement quality control procedures, enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Team Management and Communication: Lead and manage construction teams, facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, provide regular updates to clients and senior management, and prepare final project reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and respond promptly to unforeseen issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing project needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $80,000 - $95,000, based on experience.
